Description

This paper examines how the migrant seek connections with others in the local community through a entreprenur who founded the Islamic Research Center Japan (IRCJ, also known as the Yawata Mosque) in Kyoto Prefecture. The study will focus on leadership and the religious ethics drawn from Islam, turning Covid-19 crisis into opportunity and opening the mosques as a place to collaboratively solve social problems in Japan. Specifically, this paper will focus on the process of migration and the process of establishing business and a mosque, countermeasures against infectious diseases during the pandemic, and the collaboration with the Japanese in education such as Japanese language classes and a Japanese language school.
