New record of Corymorpha typica from the Ryukyu Archipelago, southern Japan

Description

A hydrozoan jellyfish, Corymorpha typica, was collected from the Ryukyu Archipelago, Okinawa Prefecture, southern Japan. This species has been previously reported from off Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture in Japan. This study represents the first record of C. typica from the Ryukyu Archipelago, Okinawa, southern Japan, and the second record of the species.
