Description
In recent years, as AI technology has advanced, the importance of AI literacy has become increasingly significant. In the information society, information literacy and computer literacy, which involve the ability to handle information appropriately, are also considered essential skills. A recent study suggests a possible correlation between AI literacy and computer literacy, although the specific nature of this relationship remains unclear.
This paper re-examines the actual state of AI literacy and computer literacy among humanities students, visualizes their interrelationship, and clarifies the presence and strength of any correlation. Additionally, based on the aggregated data analysis, this study explores the necessary content for future information education.
According to the results, trends related to computer literacy and AI literacy were largely consistent with previous research findings. Furthermore, it was observed that students with low computer proficiency tended to decrease in number almost linearly as their AI proficiency increased. Conversely, students with high AI proficiency were also suggested to be adept at basic computer operations.
