Description
In literary studies on the inheritance of memories of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the concept of “Tojisha” (the person concerned) has not received sufficient attention. This essay focuses on Kudo Rein's work “The Voice of the icicle” and seeks a new method of memory inheritance based on the relationship between the disaster and the “Tojisha” depicted in the work. The conclusion of this work, which claimed that everyone is “Tojisha” to the disaster, proved to be unique and based on the author's own experience. And this idea was noteworthy in expanding the method of catastrophe inheritance
