Abstract

<p>This article presents a new secondary battery constructed with all carbon electrodes. Carbon electrodes made from activated charcoal, have proven to show a very stable long cycle-operation with a reasonable energy density of 〜20 Wh/kg. From the viewpoint of low cost, natural resources, and low environmental damage, the all carbon battery has great potential as a partner for large-scale solar cells.</p>
