<p>Our unique, high-efficiency c-Si solar cell, named HIT, is a hybrid solar cell composed of amorphous and crystalline silicon materials. We have already achieved an extremely high conversion efficiency of 21.0% at a practical cell size (100cm2) in the laboratory. Recently, we have succeeded in developing a new high output-power HIT module (200W HIT module) suitable for mass production. The world's highest conversion efficiency of 19.5 % for solar cells was achieved. In this report, recent progress in HIT cells and modules will be discussed.</p>
