Self-organizing network of coupled neural oscillators with synaptic plasticity

We investigated a network of coupled neural oscillators in which connections between oscillators dynamically change through synaptic plasticity. We demonstrate that the co-evolving dynamics of the connections and neural oscillators yield the emergence of some specific structured connections and neural activities. We also classified these self-organized states of coupled neural networks with respect to their electrophysiological neuronal properties.
