Abstract

General-purpose KPI template development is not cost-effective because it is influenced by the characteristics of the company and the value of the program. However, for the purpose of contributing to program management practices, identifying KPIs with the premise of guaranteeing universality to some extent, and building and presenting KPIs according to acquired value, hierarchy, department, etc. It is worth considering. In this research, ROE of company-wide results KPI was reset to sales, operating margin, and ROIC that can be managed by factory management for manufacturing companies. And then, the process KPI of the department that realizes these was identified, and a model for converting the process KPI into monetary value was constructed. This model was applied to a process renewal program for achieving the medium-term plan of manufacturing company E, and was shown to be effective.
