Abstract

Telework is a way of work for diverse human resources. And many of teleworkers do "part-time telework." However many people have an image telework as "full-time telework." In addition, such an image includes "a particular way of work for handicapped, involving child care and nursing care, person." This incorrect perception of telework shows an insufficiency of telework education. The author argued that telework education should be offered in higher education. So I have conducted a class in which students simulate project operation in telework environment. The class aims to provide students with an understanding of the method of information system development. In this paper, we discuss the effect of telework experience on the students' attitudes toward telework. First, we look at an overview of the past education of telework and students' attitudes toward using ICT tools. Then, we consider the result of a principal component analysis of the time-series questionnaire about students' experience. Finally we conclude this paper with some comments on the limits of telework education in higher education.
