<p>36Cl is a cosmogenic nuclide, which is produced by the reactions of Ar with cosmic rays. Therefore, the deposited 36Cl on the ground is expected to be correlated with the cosmic-ray intensity. In this study, we measured 36Cl in rainwater with accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) and evaluated the 36Cl flux monthly from 2010 to 2014. The results confirmed that the 36Cl flux was correlated with sunspot number (r = -0.4) on the assumption that 36Cl fell down to the ground for two years. Besides, in 2011, a large amount of 36Cl was observed, which was considered to be released from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident.</p>
