Abstract
A nutrition planning model was constructed as a five-objective planning model, in which materials of food were divided into seven groups based on the component ratio of several important nutriments. All nondominated extreme solutions were found by applying a multiobjective linear programming method to this model.A figure of the human body was introduced for representing the degree of achievement in each objective and for clarifying the relation among the objectives.By using this figure, an interactive decision making sysem was developed for selecting a reduced set of preferred solutions from these nondominated solutions.
