Abstract

Approximately 30% of doctors felt that heat-not-burn tobacco is less harmful than cigarettes. There were 19 doctors (25.7%) who considered heatnot-burn tobacco to affect disease control by medications. The doctors thought that the sale of heat-not-burn tobacco at pharmacies should be restricted. In addition, the doctors thought that pharmacy pharmacists should support smoking cessation for heat-not-burn tobacco users.

Conclusion: As it is becoming common to provide smoking cessation support for heat-not-burn tobacco users, doctors are requesting the support of pharmacy pharmacists.
