Abstract
Northeastern Indian subcontinent is one of central regions of Asian monsoon precipitation. So, the study of long term variation of rainfall processes in this area is important to clarify the impact of climate change. For this study, long term data of rainfall characteristics to describe the rainfall pattern. We, from this point of view, conducted meteorological data rescue in different ways for the Northeastern Indian subcontinent. In this presentation, we will show these meteorological data rescue activities, and results of analysis based on these datasets, which is namely, 1) Data rescure of daily rainfall in British India before, 2) Database construction of severe local storms based on local newspapers, and 3) Meteorological data rescue for daily rainfall and temperature measurements in tea gardens in Assam, India.
