<p>Inkjet methods are versatile in application, and it can be used to manufacture electric devices which are currently being produced with photolithography technology. Formation of thin flat films with inkjet methods is a key factor in applying them to various industrial processes. It is known that an internal flow in a droplet deposits towards the contact line on a substrate during the drying process may lead to the formation of uneven films. An increase in solvent viscosity changes the droplet deposit pattern from ring-like to dot-like because highly-viscous solvent does not easily flow towards the contact line maintaining a homogeneous solute concentration in the droplet deposit during the drying process.<br>Fluid dynamics in a droplet deposit on a substrate are numerically solved in the latest studies focusing on the thermal Marangoni effect. However, our experiments on the direct visualization of internal flow in a droplet deposit suggested that the flow is dominated by the solutal Marangoni and/or Rayleigh effects rather than thermal ones.</p>
