<p>Clay is one of the popular materials used in Psychotherapy or Art Therapy. This study examined the role of clay works in Psychotherapy, through the process of therapy with a college student with a lack of actual feeling or realistic perspective. The client had an experience with a “Dead end” in both the physical and symbolic dimensions through touching clay and producing a creation. Colliding against the “Dead end” generated the subject and separation in the client, who lived in the primitive undifferentiated and planer state. In Mutual clay works with the therapist, the client showed his unusual and quaint means of interaction.</p>
