Abstract

<p>The thecline butterfly, Favonius yuasai, is recorded in Hyogo Pref., Japan. This is the first recording of the species, not only in Hyogo but also in the Kinki district. The habitat, distribution and dispersal pathways are briefly discussed.</p>
