Description
<p>In recent years, a repairing method, which bonds carbon fiber sheets to corroded steel members, has been applied. However, its behavior under large deformation, such as buckling, has not been clarified sufficiently. Therefore, the compression tests were carried out for specimens that carbon fiber sheets were bonded on both sides of a steel plate that had three deferent slenderness ratio parameters, in order to clarify the effects of kind of carbon fiber, bond length of carbon fiber and poly-urea putty. And the estimation method of load bearing capacity was proposed for the carbon fiber sheets bonded steel plate. As the results, the load bearing capacity could be evaluated on the safety side in all specimens by the proposed method.</p>
