Abstract
<p>I will trace modernity and post-modernity in Urban Festival,Yosakoi matsuru,Kochi,Japan.Yosakoi Matsuri started in 1954,Post WWⅡ,for Regional Society and Economy,Kochi-City.The New Fesival had a distinctive point,Naruco-Odori parade,only one perfomance of dance.The Parade was invented in rocal context,but gradually changed in nationl and global cotext.This reserch was encouraged by Nagao,Yoko's text,modernity of Festival and Space-Place.So,I want to discuss some Festivity in social and cultural issues ,Post WWⅡ of Japan.</p>
