Abstract

TAE (Thinking at the Edge) is a method of constructing a logical system (theory) from a sense of meaning (felt sense) devised by Gendlin and Hendricks by developing focusing. I have introduced and TAE mainly in various areas of Japan and Taiwan, and I faced many difficulties in the process. It is difficult for people to understand the concept derived from Gendlin's implicit philosophy, the whole image of TAE is difficult to grasp, the function of each procedure is difficult to understand, and the procedure is complicated with 14 steps. In order to deal with these difficulties, the author has devised exercises to help people to understand the concepts, and has developed “TAE Forms” that people can use to practice the TAE process. In recent years, a website “TAE Reflection” has been set up to allow users to publish and download “TAE Forms”. In order to let people to understand, I divided TAE 14 procedure into three parts and have been introducing with my insights. In this paper, I report these my works.
