Abstract

In small or medium-sized public libraries, it is often difficult to secure a budget to develop programs and new Web services required for the operation of libraries. The acquisition of programming skills by librarians can improve the efficiency of their works, thereby improving services. However, systematic training of staffs for programming skills can often be difficult. In addition, maintenance of the programs created tends to be dependent on individuals. I will discuss the utility of elementary programming while explaining the program which I actually created.
