抄録

<p>The key subject on the psychological approach to delinquency has been put on the clarification of character traits. But in order to clarify the characteristics of delinquents in our modern society, it is necessary to study their valuesystems. Resolving that problem, we must pay attention to the next points.</p><p>1. It is a prerequisite to standardize the real modes of the value systems which are held by the people in general. Moreover, we must take care of the various contradictory facts of value system which are found between generations, communities, and stratifications, etc.</p><p>2. The value standards of delinquents cannot be located on the formal scales of our whole society.</p><p>3. The internalized value system in personality has a pluralistic structure. Therefore, the concious-unconcious levels and the each region of one’s life space must be considered.</p><p>4. The value standards of a specific personality are not necessary consistent among those inner plural dimensions.</p><p>5. We consider that delinquency comes into existence from the conditions correlated between one’s internalized contradictive value system and his deviate character.</p>
