Abstract
In this paper, we propose design methods of EM wave absorber and shielding material using artificially designed material. By using resonant type permittivity dispersion and negative permittivity, it is possible to make EM wave absorber wide-band and thin, and to design shielding material having total transmission at a particular frequency. Also we introduce the homogeneous type artificial material, made by composite fabrication, which shows DNG characteristics.
