Abstract

<p>  In this paper, we investigate the effect of anti-ferromagnetic exchange coupling (AFC) on the magnetization switching of two discretized recording layers using only a spin torque oscillator (STO). Switching probabilities were calculated as functions of STO frequency, and exchange coupling constant of AFC to evaluate the effect of AFC on the magnetization switching. The results show that optimizing AFC value increases the switching probability.</p>
