<p><tt> TG women's volley ball university team was using service-reception formation of the W type with five-player(5W)and the N type with four-player(4N)in '95 spring league. And after '95 spring league TG team switched over to the Reverse W type with five-player(5RW)which has not been used by any university women's team in Japan. To produce some information on the service-reception formation, the above case was discussed from the view of the results of matches in '95 spring league and '95 fall league, the service-reception efficiency in both league and the introspection of the players after the fall league. The main results can be summarized as follows:</tt></p> <p><tt> 1)From the view of the results of matches and the service-reception efficiency any significant differences were not found between 5W, 4N and 5RW. And it considered two and half month could be enough to switch over to 5RW. From above results, 5RW could be sufficiently useful in the practical field for the team of equal or beyond TG team'abilty. </tt></p> <p><tt> 2)However some suggestions were pointed out of the results. Firstly two and half month might not be enough to switch over to 5RW from the view of the introspection of the players. Secondly one problem 5RW might cause was that the service-reception efficiency of one of the two middle players at the front row was extremely poor. Thirdly the introspection of a specific player was changed positive reply to negative reply against 5RW. </tt></p>
