Abstract

<p>This paper presents a new method for evaluation of road network system in terms of accessibility weighted by trip frequencies, and shows some a certain road network under consideration is done by comparing its weighted accessibility with that of the completely connected road network as an ideal network. Thus, this method makes it possible to compare various types of road network among different cities, and to rate the effect of an improvement of the road network system.</p>
