<p>In this research, we proposed the method to introduce Institutional Research that supports the achievement of university objectives in limited resources, by work design. Taking the case of Nagoya Institute of Technology as an example, we clarified the purpose of Institutional Research and developed the ideal Institutional Research system that fulfills their purpose. Furthermore, as a feasible Institutional Research system, we designed “Institutional Research that clarifies the existence of issues by comparing and evaluating index values calculated from the collected data and set evaluation criteria.” In addition, in this research, we analyzed university education and clarified the points affecting the output of the university. We also considered introducing evaluation indexes of the Institutional Research system based on the diploma policy.</p>
