Currently specific skilled foreign nationals have started to be accepted in Japan. In the future, acquisition of workers not only from the developing countries where Japanese construction companies are entering the market, but also from least developed countries where the actual conditions of workers at construction sites are unclear will also be considered. This research involved the actual condition of the construction workers in Bangladesh with the aim of clarifying the actual situation of workers’ education on construction sites. It was found that workers’ education has been provided by the employer side and several workers acquire skills through the long-term work experience. Conversely the barriers that the worker actually faces in the construction stage is the design document prepared in English, which prevents them to understand the construction-related drawings. Although such problem is solved by close communication with construction management team, it can be said that there is an advantage in the acquisition of English where English is often used in higher education despite being a foreign language in the developing countries. When considering the acquisition of these workers to Japan construction market in the future, it can be said that the conditions for Japanese language capabilities may be a barrier to the market expansion of construction workers.
