Abstract

In recent years, research on the thermal environment in classrooms has increased. In our laboratory, we built a sensor network to observe the thermal environment in the university. In this paper, questionnaires were conducted twice in spring and summer for a total of five classes to be observed, and the subjective evaluation and observation data on thermal sensation of students were compared for each class. As a result, it was confirmed that the comfort level of the student's learning environment could not be determined only by the thermal sensation in the classroom, but even if air conditioning was introduced in the summer, it alone did not improve the comfort level of the temperature and humidity in the classroom. . In the future, we will continue research throughout the fall and winter seasons and consider improving the learning environment.
