We surveyed the population fluctuations of the White Wagtail Motacilla alba lugens and the Japanese Wagtail Motacilla grandis in breeding seasons from 1999 to 2019 in Kochi city. The White Wagtail had increased both in the occurrence ratio and the average observed individuals per year. On the other hand, the Japanese Wagtail had not increased or decreased in the same term.
