Description

A callianassid ghost shrimp Paratrypaea bouvieri was collected from four localities in Kochi and Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. The samples include six males and ten females (including three ovigerous females) collected from August 2016 to June 2018. This is the first record of this species from Tokushima Prefecture.
