Description
<p>Traffic congestion is one of the most serious social problems, and up to now, so many studies for traffic signal control have been conducted. Most of these studies use traffic information obtained by plenty of sensors. However, in real-world roads, there are intersections where it is difficult to install sensors under the reason of cost and/or physical constraint. In addition, traffic situation changes over time and also changes due to sudden traffic accidents. In this paper, we propose an Ant Colony Optimization algorithm-based control approach for dynamically interpolating traffic information. As a result, it is found that the proposed method can interpolate traffic information dynamically and correctly compared with the conventional method.</p>
