Abstract
<p>Rockfall protective soil embankment, which is one of the rockfall countermeasures, is relatively easy and economical to construct. However, at present, consideration of rockfall trapping performance is not sufficiently done. Therefore, in this research, model experiments and 2D-DEM simulation were carried out for the purpose of collecting basic data for understanding the performance of rockfall protective soil embankment.</p>
