Abstract

The purpose of this study is to establish an efficient method for investigating the damage state of concrete. To achieve this purpose, a basic study on the measurement method of concrete crack width using high-resolution photographs was conducted on a damaged RC column specimen. We then examined the effect of shutter speed, which makes the difference in the light intensity that affects image quality. For cracks with a visual measurement value of 0.30mm or more, the average accuracy of the image measurement value was 1.13, which was generally good.
