Abstract

A non-school attendant and withdrawal junior high school girl, who was recommended to see the mental clinic doctor, was followed up with e-mail counseling using the cellular phone and medical therapy, until admission in the university hospital for work up of visual symptomatic abnormality.  In her clinical course, the e-mail counseling was analyzed by means of face (special) characters psychologically, which was much contributed to improving her severe clinical states, such as suicide attempts in unstable moods and many psychosomatic symptoms in non-school attendance.  These novel therapeutic means mainly with e-mail counseling using cellular phone, will have general or universal desirable effects for such withdrawal pupil or another withdrawal cases in lonely and hopeless. We would like to develop another and more effective approaches in the educational and medical point of view to save a lot of struggling children doing efforts to get out of the dark world of withdrawal and non-school attendance.
