Description

The term “bibliographical hierarchy” appears in the 1987 edition of the Nippon Cataloging Rules (NCR). However, its definition and usage present some problems. After examining the NCR's a modified bibliographical hierarchy is presented. The analysis of its patterns is also made to make it clearer and more precise.
