Description

In this study, it is possible to grasp of vocational indecision and mental health by performing a questionnaire survey on vocational decision and mental health for targeting the active university students. I have studied the challenges of student counseling and career education in universities, its interrelationships and the way of guidance and support. I was using the vocational indecision scale（ Shimoyama, 1986） in search on vocational decision and the University Personality Inventory in the investigation of mental health. As a result, it has been found that“ immaturity”,“ confusion”,　“moratorium”,“ exploration”,“ easiness”,“ decision” are affecting the symptom form of depression, obsession and social anxiety and occupation indecision. In the background of the mental symptoms　of university students, the problems of self-determination of career choice has been grasped. This suggested that psychological and social support with a view to the problem of vocational decision　in student counseling for complaining of psychological symptoms and need for support of identity development in career education.
