In this paper the author suggested that psycho-dynamics oriented psychotherapy was also a method of psychological study about the emotional processes which occur in the close relationship. The structure of psycho-dynamics oriented psychotherapy forces clients to play out their representational world in the therapeutic relationship. So the emotional processes take place in the therapeutic couple, and not only clients but also therapists have some emotional experiences, which don't happen without the partner. Psychotherapy is a participant observation, but in this situation it is multi-dimensional, because therapists have to inquire not only the outer conditions but also the inner conditions. The former ones are information which clients talk or show in verbal or nonverbal communications, and the later ones are emotional experiences which arise in therapists' own minds responding to clients' emotional experiences. They appear in therapists' feelings, thoughts, behaviors, physical responses, and dreams. The orthodox methods of psychology are based on the assumption that human mind is a separate unity from the other mind. But the working of mind in the therapeutic situation cannot be investigated without account of mind of the partner. Such a layer of mind is called inter-subjectivity, and it is an important factor of psychological development in infancy and toddler age. Even in adulthood, it influences intimate relationship and social adaptation. The method of study about it is needed. So psychotherapy is valuable to be considered the method of investigate of the unsolved area of mind.
