The alternate test method in daily herd improvement program is beginning to extend in Hokkaido area of Japan in recent years. Since the alternate test method was not verified sufficiently in the milking parlor system, the prediction accuracy was examined in this study. The data of the milking time, milk yield, and milk constituent of the dairy cows milked in the milking parlor from 1988 to 2003 was collected at three ranches of the Niikappu, Iwate, and the main station (Shirakawa) of National Livestock Breeding Center. Variance analysis which made milking time in milking parlor the objective variable, and made variance factors cow number, year, month of milking, the milk yield of the current milking, and parity was carried out. Although all the variance factors were significant, the variance originating in individual number held the major portion of variance. The cows of milking time early and late were being fixed entirely. Although there were cows with unstable milking time, they were limited to the few members. From this result, large majority of individuals were repeating each milking time. Next the daily milk yield and daily fat percent by the alternate test method of milking parlors were predicted, and the prediction accuracy was examined. Consequently, the prediction errors of the daily milk yield from the morning or evening milk were 2.00 and 2.21kg, and the prediction error of each daily fat percent was 0.211 and 0.219%.

近年,乳用牛群能力検定において交互検定法が北海道で普及していることに対応し,フリーストール・ミルキングパーラー搾乳システムにおける交互検定法の予測精度について検討した。家畜改良センタ一新冠,岩手,本所の3牧場においてフリーストール・ミルキングパーラーにて搾乳された乳牛について1988から2003年まで搾乳時刻,乳量乳成分データを収集した。搾乳時刻に及ぼす要因について,個体,測定年,測定月,乳量,産次を要因とする分散分析を行った。その結果.個体の効果が分散の大部分を占めた。搾乳時刻が振れる個体もあったが,少頭数に限られた。この結果から,大多数の個体はそれぞれの搾乳時刻を反復していることが確認されたので,次に交互検定法による1日乳量および1日平均乳脂率を予測し,予測精度を検討した。その結果,朝あるいはタ乳からの1日乳量の予測誤差は2.00,2.2l(kg)となり,1日平均乳脂率の予測誤差は 0.211,0.219 (%)となった。
