Cormorant fishing has an old history, and is folk customs with a deep occupation and life over the river culture in Japan . This study considers cormorant fishing's characteristic as a waterside environmental design through the comparison survey of cormorant fishing to whom Nagara River is mainly done in the river in Japanese various places.
