Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a perspective to consider theoretical problems regarding extra-curricular activities in the new official curriculum guideline.A Japanese pedagogist, Tsunekazu Takeuchi has posed problems on Life guidance theory. His concern lies in the contradiction between “care” and “instruction” in compulsory school. Referring to this point, we need to examine society image and career formation in “Community-based School Curriculum”.
