Description
Learning by junior high and high school students in the Quest Education Program(QEP)was investigated. In Study 1, quantitative analysis was conducted, which confirmed that career consciousness scores increased as a result of QEP. In Study 2, qualitative analysis of free writing was used as the analytical framework and reports of students with and without improvements in career consciousness were compared. The results indicated that students’ career consciousness improved through QEP. Based on these results, career education in junior high and high schools is discussed.
