Abstract

Y could recover hydrogen from Li even at low hydrogen concentrations at 673-773K. In addition, HF treatment was an effective method to remove impurities on Y surface. The recovery of tritium from neutron-irradiated Li by a Y plate was experimentally investigated for tritium removal in a Li loop of a fusion reactor. The Y plate at 673K-773K successfully recovered sub-ppm order of tritium dissolved in Li.
