抄録

This study was carried out to investigate the influence of the temperature and the behavior of internal water on strength development of the concrete constructed in hot weather environment. On the experiment, using real size column specimens, time-dependent change and distribution of the temperature, the moisture content, the rate of hydrated water and the porosity were measured and discussed on the relationship between them and strength properties. As a result, it was quantitatively clarified that the rate of hydrated water in the concrete placed at summer was lower than that placed at normal season. And even if the values at the both seasons were same, the compressive strength of the hot weather concrete was lower due to its coarse microstructure.
