Description
We developed developmental disability check cheet (Ddcs) in order to investigate and then support university freshman having developmental disability. The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of the check sheet with 10 question items (Ddcs-10). The results of a factor analysis of the Ddcs-10 revealed two subscales of difficulty of making friends and disability of taking lecture. The Ddcs-10 score were positively related to rating of psychiatrists and counselors in a direct interview, but there was a limit to find all of students having developmental disorder. We concluded that this check sheet should be used for supporting students' adaption not for diagnosing developmental disorder.
