In Japan, schools and communities have been working together to promote projects in various places. Today, it is an inevitable theme not only for social education in communities but also for the school education's side, and the stakeholders are asked to make concrete efforts to do so. In this research, I have examined the tasks of the projects where school education and social education work in cooperation, and the effect is measured from the viewpoint of what it takes to work effectively and continuously. As a case, I have examined workshops at a primary school. This workshop was conducted for 5th grade students for the purpose of "parent learning, " using real raw eggs. As a part of the project to support home education, the social educational administrative department led the coordination, and local residents gave lectures as facilitators. Collaboration between school education and social education conducted at schools requires evaluation not only for students' learning but also for social educational projects. This is because, even if it is done as a class for the school's side, it is also a social educational project involving social educational administration. It is important for the department in charge of the social educational administration to evaluate the project, by improving the competence of the local people who serve as lecturers of the project, and by grasping the results of coordination by the administration. In the future, it is urgent to develop evaluation indicators for such social educational projects.
