Description

For children with developmental disabilities, programming education was conducted using Viscuit which is a programming tool in the general education classroom. Practice was done not only to acquire programming thinking ability but also various aspects of development such as communication skill, and improvement of self-competence. As a result, the programming thinking ability has expanded, and group learning including communication and collaborative work ability has been established. It also suggested the importance of consideration and support depending on the characteristics of disabilities and individuals needs in programming education.
