Abstract
In the late 1940s, "Neo-Evangelicals" was expanding with fine showing by Billy Graham. But they are divided by the problem of "biblical inerrancy". The founders of "Neo-Evangelicals", H. Ockenga, H. Lindsell tried to bring out the vision of the world that Bible told the truth based upon the assertion "Bible is inerrancy". But next generation, D. Hubbard, D. Fuller, and P.Jewett accepted the higher criticism to build social adapted theology even though they have to protect the biblical authority. The former was first generation of "Neo-Evangelicals", and they "tried to" compromise to the world around them. The later was second generation, and in fact they "compromised". Both side of generation were mixed in there days.
