Description

The purpose of this study was to consider the possibility of Life Skills Program (LSP) through sports, and to conduct a re-evaluation of LSP through sports, as new developments in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). As a result, first, the values of ESD was able to arrange the values for the thinking human behavior and values and on how to capture social and environmental, values have been important in LSP both was found to match. Second, many skills for ESD were consistent with skills for LSP. Third, it was important to be action-oriented and hand-on style. From the above, LSP through sports was consistent with the principle of ESD, suggesting the possibility of a significant contribution to ESD.
