Given the circumstance of Chinese social welfare being seriously under-developed, the view of religion as social capital has been gradually accepted. Regarding the current situation of the Christian Church in China, especially the situation of the 'House Church', there are many problems or questions that need to be clarified. This article will be one effort to reveal the present situation of the Korean Nationality 'House Church' and the characteristics of its activities, through interviews and investigation of actual cases as examples of the Korean Nationality 'House Church' in Shanghai. Furthermore, this article will analyze the charity activities of the Christian groups of Korean Nationality, and will consider their impact on local communities and their effect on the social assimilation of the new immigrants of Korean Nationality. Finally, through analyzing the status of the Chinese 'House Church', solutions to problems will be suggested.
