The cult product shokugan seen in relationship to the human activities of collectionism and consumption of images which is most evident in souvenir articles. Attempts to interpret the migration, and conflation of mass-media images which we see in certain small household articles(bibelots), indicating animistic traits present in the human pursuit for happiness. Comparative cultural research in Kochi, Japan as well as in Rome, Italy.
